I went to see a guy that Andre works with, as well as a guy from FilePile play at a club in LA called The Garage. They were fun, a cross between The Minutemen and The Pixies, playing with a drum-machine backing track. They’re called BlueBook and they’re worth checking out.

This article from the New York Times paints an interesting picture of a post-Taliban town in Afghanistan. Maybe it’s a propoganda-influenced, one-sided view of what is happening, but if it’s true, It gives me a little bit of hope about what is happening to Afghanistan during this military campaign.
