Continuing with the music related entries, I found this site that compiles tons of end-of-year best-of lists, going back to the 50’s. It’s got some pretty cool data, since it has lists from NME, MOJO, Village Voice, and tons of other pubs, instead of just a Billboard list. I think that John Peel’s “Festive Fifty” lists from the early 90’s are particularly engaging. Great for digging up old favorites and forgotten gems for era-specific mix tapes.
