An idea for a short
An idea for a short film: a 10 minute remake of The Fast & The Furious told via 6 year old kids riding Big Wheels.
I can see the entire film in my head: 25 big wheels lined up along the street in the late afternoon, blocking off access for cars, so that the two stars can race. Slow motion shots of kids getting heavy on the hand brake at the bottom of the hill, spinning out, plastic tires scraping on the asphalt. Kids working on their Big Wheels in the back yard, adding tassels, repainting their bikes. Even the dialog is there:
I live my life one driveway at a time…
You can have any brew you want…as long as it’s a capri sun.
If you have access to 20-25 young kids (ages 4-7), a pile of vintage Big Wheels, and a digital video camera, please, help me realize my dream!

Phil, Maybe better yet…. “The Wild Ones Part II”…. 25 kids on big wheels ride into a small California desert town and terorize the inhabitants. Really LOUD big wheels…. with back seats to carry away the town’s maidens! Now there’s a box office smash!

I will make this movie for you if you find a source for oversized bigwheels so we can use adult actors. I think this would actually add to the idea. These aren’t kids limited to bigwheels, these are adults who have chosen bigwheels as their perferred ‘trick out’ platform.
