Rushmore and Bottle Rocket would both make my 'favorite 20 movies' list...When Tennenbaums comes out on video, I'll have to give it another shot. Bad choice!! I think the characters in Tennenbaums appealed to a narrower cross section of viewers than Wes Anderson's other films. Give it another shot! Once it got going it wasn't that bad but I could never really get into it. I guess it was teh main protagonist that turned me off, what a wuss. Now.. If I was in charge of making this thing run smoothly I'd have used much more foam. I really think they did a good job though considering their budget. It's tough to get by these days, especially with the damn kids and nintendo. Yeah, the plot development in that one was a little nuts for me, you know.
