From a post to the sugar-list, about Bob Mould’s benefit in NYC for one of the firehouses devestated by September 11:
Circle your calendar. Bob said Granary Music was
going to become a fully functioning label, and that
one new album would hopefully hit stores on March 12.
Two other albums would either be in stores as well or
available over the web. A tour would go on to support
all the stuff.
Bob’s gonna be on MTV. For those of you who thought
you’d never hear that sentence, Bob’s going to appear
on an edition of MTV’s Ultrasound, focusing on mosh
pits. Bob said he poked some fun at Blink 182 fans
for trying to be manly while taking off their shirts
off and rubbing against each other in a sweaty pit for
two hours.
This is certainly cool, I’m really psyched about these new albums, and the fact that I now live in a big city means it won’t be a near impossible trek to see him.
