I went to see Ben Folds with Andy last night..it was definitely a worthwhile event. He played pretty much everything from the new album, as well as a couple of b-sides. And then the encore came, where he played old Ben Folds Five songs solo..that was great, and two songs in a roadie came up to him and said ‘there are some guests here who’d like to come on stage with you.’ Ben said something like ‘we need to have a pow-wow, talk amongst yourselves,’ and went over to the side of the stage..it looked as though he was talking to two women and a man. As I stared longer, I realized he was talking to Hanson! That crazy Mr. Ben Folds, he sure has a sense of humor. They stumbled through Kate with him, and then left. It was pretty surreal.
