i went to the department of motor vehicles during my lunch break today, and took my motorcycle license permit test. i spent about 2 minutes taking the test, and 45 minutes waiting in various lines. but, i’m now a valid motorcycle driver (as long as there’s someone w/ a license within a quarter mile of me), and i’m going out riding with terra from colonize on thursday! i’m pretty psyched. i’m not so interested in buying a motorcycle right now, but i’d like to get my license before i move to california, in case it’s a bigger pain out there.

i have to say, a bike like this is really appealing, and can be had for under $2000 used.
