Two nights ago, we went to see the movie Memento. It was one of the most interesting movies I’ve seen in a long time. Highly original. Guy Pearce, the australian actor who played the ‘good cop’ in L.A. Confidential was amazing, and the supporting cast was brilliant at times, mediocre at others. Sometimes it felt long, when the backwards scenes rehashed a lot of scenes we’d already seen. The way the story opened up at the end was amazing.

Tonight Emily and I are going to see Fred Ho, who is a chinese-american baritone saxophonist. It should be a lot of fun.
