Emily has finished her senior honors thesis on experimental women writers, so she’s under a lot less stress now than she was over the last few weeks. I think it’s a pretty amazing accomplishment. It was without a doubt the most impressive piece of writing i’ve ever read by an undergraduate. I have a few tests and papers coming up, but by next friday I’ll be done, and then I don’t have anything left until finals week. I plan on taking the time to go on some job interviews, as well as to relax.

Well, it seems pretty likely now that we’ll either end up in Silicon Valley or New York City next year. I have an interview scheduled in NY, as well as a few good leads on jobs. I think that New York would be nice due to the proximity to family, but there’s something to be said for the climate of California.

I found this on the web today, via MetaFilter. It’s a miniature car racing game in shockwave. I forget what these things are called, but my uncle had a set, and I always wanted to play with them, but never got to. It was a sad childhood.
