i think that computer hardware hates me. I don’t think i’ve ever had a hardware upgrade that didn’t break something else. i’ve run through so many hard disks, motherboards, it’s hard to count. last night, for no reason, i stopped getting dns resolution. anyway, it turned out that a firmware upgrade and settings reset of my netgear router fixed the problem.

I watched a little bit of the IFC/West independent spirit awards last night. In a year where mediocre drivel like gladiator gets nominated for dozens of academy awards, it’s kinda cool that an alternative like this exists.
